Volleyball Recap: Douglas County Starts off Right with Win over Rangeview + How To Watch

Douglas County had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Rangeview Raiders. That's more bragging rights for the Huskies, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Douglas County never let Rangeview on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-16, 25-16.

Reese Millar paced Douglas County's offense, picking up 11 kills. Millar got some help from Ady Millar and her 19 assists. Reese was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Douglas County will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Cherokee Trail at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rangeview, they will host Arapahoe at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
