Brookhaven will bounce into Thursday's contest after beating Laurel, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. The Panthers came out on top against the Golden Tornadoes by a score of 4-2 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last matchup, North Pike made sure to put some goals up on the board against Natchez on Tuesday. They blew past the Bulldogs 7-0. The win continues a trend for North Pike in their matchups with Natchez: they've now won six in a row.

North Pike's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Brookhaven, the win got them back to even at 7-7-2.
