Ridge Community won against Freedom on Friday with 65 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. The Bolts beat the Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate Phoenix by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 65-51. The victory was just business as usual for the Bolts, who after five games remain undefeated this season.

Ridge Community's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Amare Walker, who made all 7 shots he took for 19 points along with five assists and four steals. Walker is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played. Curtis Walton was another key player, shooting 63% from the field on his way to 11 points in addition to six steals and five boards.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Ridge Community was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Munashe Madzvimbo, who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elyas Oauoukorri, who put up 11 points.

Ridge Community's record now sits at 5-0. As for Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Ridge Community will head out to square off against Frostproof at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Anclote at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
