Volleyball Recap: Reagan Wins Going Away Against Hialeah

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Reagan had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Hialeah Thoroughbreds. The Bison haven't had any issues with the Thoroughbreds recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Yeison Gonzalez paced Reagan's offense, picking up 16 kills. Gonzalez got some help from Diego Requena and his 30 assists. Requena was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Reagan's record now sits at 21-3. As for Hialeah, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

Reagan will take on Mater Lakes Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bears will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Bison surely won't give up without a fight. Hialeah does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
