Soccer Recap: Eagle Pass Takes a Loss

After flying high against Laredo LBJ last Saturday, Eagle Pass came back down to earth. The Eagle Pass Eagles came up short against the Alexander Bulldogs on Wednesday, falling 7-1. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Eagle Pass has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-6-2 record this season. As for Alexander, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season.

Eagle Pass has already played their next contest (against United), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Alexander, they and Laredo LBJ will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Alexander is facing Laredo LBJ at the right time seeing as Laredo LBJ is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
