Basketball Recap: Clearbrook-Gonvick Takes a Loss

Clearbrook-Gonvick has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They lost 85-63 to the Fertile-Beltrami Falcons on Tuesday. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Clearbrook-Gonvick's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Fertile-Beltrami, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4.

As for Fertile-Beltrami, they will face off against Badger/Greenbush-Middle River at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Fertile-Beltrami knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 14 contests -- so hopefully Badger/Greenbush-Middle River likes a good challenge.
