Softball Recap: Westmoreland Takes a Loss

Westmoreland fell victim to Lancaster and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 15-0 to the Red Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-1 on Tuesday.

This is the second loss in a row for Westmoreland and nudges their season record down to 5-6. As for Lancaster, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Westmoreland is set to square off against their familiar foe Northumberland at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lancaster will face off against rival Rappahannock at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
