Volleyball Recap: Temecula Valley Comes Up Short

Temecula Valley came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Valley View Eagles, falling 3-0. The Golden Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Temecula Valley took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-22, 25-23.

Temecula Valley's loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Valley View, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Temecula Valley will face off against Vista Murrieta at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Valley View, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Paloma Valley at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. The game will give Valley View their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
