Pepin/Alma had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Elmwood/Plum City Wolves, posting a 50-6 win. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 43-6.

Justin Bergmann went supernova, rushing for 162 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only nine carries, while also catching one TD. His longest rush was for an incredible 92 yards. Another player making a difference was Owen Post, who gained 87 total yards and a touchdown.

Coming up, Pepin/Alma will be playing at home against Assumption at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Elmwood/Plum City, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Blair-Taylor at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th.
