Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Port Barre). Everything went their way against Pickering on Thursday as they made off with a 46-23 win. Port Barre not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since November 21, 2024 (when they won 56-16).

Port Barre moved to 2-4 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Pickering, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Coming up, Port Barre won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Sacred Heart at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Red Devils will be up against the Trojans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 51.43 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Pickering, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hackberry at 4:45 p.m. on Saturday.
