Volleyball Recap: Emily Regtuyt and Reece Baldwin Secure Win for Pinecrest

Pinecrest had to endure a four-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Pine Forest Trojans on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Patriots also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2015.

Pinecrest walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-19, 22-25, 25-15, 25-23.

Pinecrest was led to victory by Reece Baldwin and Emily Regtuyt. Baldwin had six digs and two aces, while Regtuyt had 15 kills and 11 digs. That's the most digs Regtuyt has posted over her last six contests.

Pinecrest's record now sits at 7-8. As for Pine Forest, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Pinecrest has already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Hoke County on the 18th. As for Pine Forest, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Jack Britt on the 18th.
