Baseball Recap: Portland Christian Takes a Loss

Portland Christian lost against Vernonia on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Royals took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Loggers. The Royals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pasquale Walker was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Michael Thurber, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Portland Christian's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Vernonia, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-13.

As of now, neither Portland Christian nor the Loggers have any future games scheduled.
