Juniata Valley took a 17-run defeat the last time they faced off against Mount Union, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Juniata Valley had just enough and edged out Mount Union 4-3. Winning may never get old, but the Hornets sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Bethany Devore spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on four hits and racked up 12 Ks.
