Sequatchie County managed to slip by South Pittsburg the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Indians were beaten by the Pirates 40-6 on Friday. The loss put an end to the Indians' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Sequatchie County fell to 2-1. As for South Pittsburg, their win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Sequatchie County will face off against Marion County at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. The Indians will need to watch out since the Warriors have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for South Pittsburg, they will challenge Brainerd at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
