Soccer Game Preview: Oak Park vs. Moorpark

The Oak Park Eagles are taking a road trip to square off against the Moorpark Musketeers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

Oak Park is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Thousand Oaks on Friday. They came up short against the Lancers, falling 4-0. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Moorpark hasn't lost a match yet, a trend which continued in their latest game on Saturday. Neither they nor Granada Hills Charter could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Musketeers' first draw of the season.

Mattheo Sipaque was the only thing that stood between Moorpark and a shutout considering he scored both of Moorpark's goals, bringing his season total up to five goals.

With that draw, Moorpark's record moves to 6-0-1. As for Oak Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-1.
