Basketball Recap: Helix Takes a Loss

Helix saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came up short against the Chino Hills Huskies, falling 80-57. While losing is never fun, the Highlanders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 248th, while the Huskies are ranked 26th).

Helix has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season. As for Chino Hills, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

Helix will take on Plymouth Whitemarsh in a tournament on Saturday. As for Chino Hills, they will be taking part in a tournament against South at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
