Baseball Recap: Loomis Chaffee School Takes a Loss

After flying high against Kent School on Wednesday, Loomis Chaffee School came back down to earth. The Pelicans fell just short of the Taft School Big Red by a score of 7-6 on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Big Red this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-6 last Wednesday.

Loomis Chaffee School's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Taft School, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Loomis Chaffee School will face off against rival Choate Rosemary Hall School at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Taft School is set to take on their familiar foe Trinity-Pawling School at 4:45 p.m. on Monday.
