While playoffs are underway in Mississippi high school football's small school classifications, a big matchup was on the schedule in 6A.
No. 1 Picayune improved to 11-0 with a 49-28 win over No. 20 Wayne County. The Maroon Tide head into the playoffs averaging 53.2 points per game.
No. 6 Oxford won its ninth game in a row with a 14-3 win over No. 23 Tupelo.
In a third meeting between Top 25 teams Friday, No. 9 Brandon beat No. 13 Pearl 28-7.
