Basketball Game Preview: Law Lawmen vs. Foran Lions

The Law Lawmen will take on the Foran Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Law came up short against Hillhouse and fell 55-45.

Foran has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 55-48 to Mercy on Friday.

Defeat or not, Foran got some senior leadership from Faith Doyle and Ava Deitelbaum. Doyle posted 14 points and four steals, while Deitelbaum went 6-for-9 to rack up 14 points. Maranda Perez was another key player, putting up six points.

Law's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 12-7. As for Foran, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 12-7.

Law came up short against Foran in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 55-50. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Foran's Maddie Deldin, who went 6-for-9 en route to 15 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.
