Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Victor Valley). They breezed by the Barstow Aztecs to the tune of 82-54 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Jackrabbits have posted against the Aztecs since January 11, 2022.

Victor Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from AXEL SOSA, who went 7 of 10 on his way to 20 points. That's the most points SOSA has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of ISAIAH BUTLER, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 19 points.

The victory made it two in a row for Victor Valley and bumps their season record up to 8-10. As for Barstow, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-9 record this season.

Victor Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Granite Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Victor Valley is facing Granite Hills at the right time seeing as Granite Hills is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Barstow, they will venture away from home to face off against Lakeview Leadership Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Barstow will also cruise into their next matchup with the timing on their side: Lakeview Leadership Academy will have lost four straight heading into Tuesday's contest.
