Basketball Recap: Westfield School Comes Up Short

Westfield School lost against St. Anne-Pacelli back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Westfield School Hornets were outmatched by the St. Anne-Pacelli Vikings and fell 63-27. The Hornets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-8.

St. Anne-Pacelli's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mikehi Williams, who made all 7 shots he took to post 14 points and six boards. Williams is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last nine games he's played. Jalien Bush was another key player, going 5 for 12 en route to 11 points.

Westfield School has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season. As for St. Anne-Pacelli, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 22-0.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Strong Rock Christian the next time they take the court. St. Anne-Pacelli will host Strong Rock Christian at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Westfield School will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
