Basketball Recap: Millville Starts Season with Win Against Cumberland

Millville gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They came out on top against the Cumberland Colts by a score of 43-36. The victory was some much needed relief for the Thunderbolts as it spelled an end to their 11-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Millville and Wildwood Catholic will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cumberland, they will be home for the holidays to greet Clearview at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Cumberland will come in still looking for their first win of the season.
