After a string of five wins, Woodstock's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They came up short against the Lakes Eagles, falling 4-0. Woodstock were not able to make up for their defeat to Lakes from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Woodstock's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Lakes, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Woodstock will host Woodstock North at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lakes, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Crystal Lake Central at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Crystal Lake Central will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Lakes surely won't give up without a fight.
