Baseball Recap: King's Christian Has No Trouble Against Calvary Christian Academy

King's Christian had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Calvary Christian Academy on Monday. King's Christian was the clear victor by a 13-3 margin over Calvary Christian Academy.

Sam Yoo made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Yoo was even better at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, MJ Pancurak was a standout: he got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one double. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce Brown, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

King's Christian now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Calvary Christian Academy, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. King's Christian will host LEAP Academy at 4:00 p.m. on April 1. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against The Pilgrim Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
