Fairview and Hiland squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Fairview had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 4-2. The Apaches' loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Cole Mack was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI. Zane Timbrook also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Fairview's defeat dropped their record down to 22-4. As for Hiland, their win was their 29th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 30-1.

As of now, neither Fairview nor the Hawks have any future games scheduled.
