Volleyball Recap: Riceville Takes a Loss

Riceville came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Rockford Warriors. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Wildcats have suffered since October 10, 2024.

Riceville's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Rockford, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riceville will challenge Janesville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rockford, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Northwood-Kensett at 5:30 p.m. The Warriors are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
