Volleyball Recap: Waukegan Victorious

Waukegan's tournament run continued when they took on Willows Academy on Saturday. The Bulldogs walked away with a 2-0 win over the Eagles. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Waukegan can attribute much of their success to Peyton Murphy, who had eight aces and three digs. That's the most digs Murphy has posted over her last two contests.

Murphy wasn't the only good servers: Waukegan was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Waukegan's record is now 13-17. As for Willows Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.

Waukegan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Mundelein on the 15th. As for Willows Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Lake Forest Academy on the 11th.
