Basketball Game Preview: Elko Indians vs. Syracuse Titans

Having just played yesterday, the Elko Indians will jump right back in to play the Syracuse Titans at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday.

Elko is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering East just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They lost 76-50 to the Leopards.

Meanwhile, Syracuse entered their tilt with Snow Canyon on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 63-52 victory over the Warriors.

Syracuse's win came from a few key players Elko will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Beckam Rees, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Robinson, who went 7 for 11 on his way to 18 points and six rebounds.

Elko's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Syracuse, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
