Basketball Recap: Saratoga Springs Comes Up Short

Saratoga Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were outmatched by Academy of the Holy Names and fell 56-28. While losing is never fun, the Blue Streaks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 373rd, while Academy of the Holy Names are ranked 53rd).

Saratoga Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Academy of the Holy Names, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-3.

Saratoga Springs will square off against Guilderland at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Academy of the Holy Names, they will take on Voorheesville at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
