Volleyball Recap: Westborough Wins Going Away Against Milton

Westborough won the last time they faced Milton and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Rangers put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 win.

While Westborough won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-23, 25-20.

Al Regnier paced Westborough's offense, picking up 18 kills. Regnier got some help from Charlotte Dullea and her 33 assists. Kathleen O'Reilly controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Westborough's victory bumped their record up to 11-2-1. As for Milton, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-7.

Westborough has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Barnstable on the 21st. As for Milton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Brookline on the 16th.
