Volleyball Recap: Manteca Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Manteca lost against Lodi back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Buffaloes fell just short of the Flames by a score of 3-2. While the Buffaloes didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Flames 25-18 in the first set.

Manteca actually scored more points across those five sets (101-99), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 18-25, 15-25, 26-24, 25-17, 15-10.

Manteca's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Lodi, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Manteca has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Ripon on the 27th. As for Lodi, they will face off against Sierra at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
