When it comes to explaining why Seminole Ridge lost, one person who can't be blamed is Calvin Warren. Despite the final result, he scored eight points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Giancarlos Romero, who scored four points.
Seminole Ridge has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost 12 of their last 13 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-16 record this season. As for Palm Beach Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Wellington the next time they take the court. Palm Beach Central will head out to face Wellington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Seminole Ridge will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
