Merritt won the last time they faced Turpin and things went their way on Saturday too. The Merritt Oilers claimed a resounding 60-30 win over the Turpin Cardinals. The Oilers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Merritt's victory was their 25th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.8 points over those games. As for Turpin, their loss dropped their record down to 11-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Merritt will head out to challenge Hobart at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
