Basketball Recap: Eaton Rapids' Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Eaton Rapids had to endure a ten-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They enjoyed a cozy 44-30 win over the Lakewood Vikings on Friday. The Greyhounds have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Vikings, too.

Eaton Rapids' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Lakewood, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Eaton Rapids will be home for the holidays to greet Haslett at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Haslett will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Eaton Rapids surely won't give up without a fight. Lakewood and Harper Creek will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
