Football Recap: Germantown's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak at Home + How To Watch

Germantown dropped to 7-3 on Thursday, ending the team's six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season. They came up short against the Southwind Jaguars, falling 34-8. The matchup marked the Red Devils' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

As for Southwind, the win keeps them at an undefeated 10-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.6 points on average this season.

It was another big night for Kelvin Perkins, who rushed for 188 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also threw for 91 yards and one TD. Those 188 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Chad Rooks, who rushed for 117 yards on only six carries.

As of now, neither Germantown nor Southwind have any future games scheduled.
