Meanwhile, Mesquite won against Vista Grande on Wednesday with 12 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. Everything went the Wildcats' way against Arcadia as they made off with a 12-1 victory. The Wildcats have beaten the Titans the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Titans has come to flipping the script.
Cooper Leroy spent all five innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on one hit and racked up six Ks.
At the plate, Bently Sandall was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Kash Rogers, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Monday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Cactus Shadows hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .385. However, it's not like Mesquite struggles in that department as they've averaged .375. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
