Baseball Game Preview: Greece Arcadia Titans vs. Honeoye Falls-Lima Cougars

Greece Arcadia is 0-5 against Honeoye Falls-Lima since April of 2019 but things could change on Monday. The Titans will look to defend their home field against the Cougars at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Greece Arcadia is headed into Monday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Eastridge. Surprisingly, this marked the Titans' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Greece Arcadia got a good showing from Brady Parker, who struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. That's the fewest hits Parker has allowed over his last four contests.

Meanwhile, Honeoye Falls-Lima came up short against Greece Athena on Friday and fell 9-5.

Jacob Weber made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Conor Finn, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.

Greece Arcadia's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Honeoye Falls-Lima, their loss dropped their record down to 4-15.
