Basketball Game Preview: Douglas County Tigers vs. Carrollton Trojans

The Douglas County Tigers will face off against the Carrollton Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses for Douglas County and four for Carrollton.

On Saturday, Douglas County ended up a good deal behind New Manchester and lost 83-64. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 296th, while the Jaguar are ranked 48th).

Meanwhile, Carrollton had to suffer through a 74-41 loss at the hands of Westlake.

Douglas County's record now sits at 6-16. As for Carrollton, their record is now 3-18.

Douglas County didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Carrollton in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 51-46 win. Will Douglas County repeat their success, or does Carrollton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
