Crismon gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They blew past the Bradshaw Mountain Bears, posting a 38-7 victory at home. The win was some much needed relief for the Rattlers as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Crismon found their leader in underclassman Sophia Saldivar, who picked up 91 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Saldivar also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making six total tackles and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception which she returned one-yard for a touchdown.
Crismon's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB five times. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Aleeya Sample-Lewis.
Bradshaw Mountain is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.
