Football Recap: MacArthur Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Aldine last Friday, MacArthur came back down to earth. The Generals and the Spring Lions were almost perfectly matched up on Friday, but the Generals suffered a 19-18 loss. The Generals haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Despite the defeat, MacArthur saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Trinidad Espinoza rushed for 68 yards and one TD.

Vincent Lee had an outrageously good game for Spring as he rushed for 179 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 11.2 yards per carry.

MacArthur's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Spring, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

MacArthur wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 42-7 defeat against Westfield on the 23rd. As for Spring, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 24-8 loss against Dekaney on the 24th.
