Soccer Recap: Olympic Comes Up Short

Olympic lost against West Cabarrus back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Trojans lost 9-0 to the Wolverines. Olympic's loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Olympic's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8-2. As for West Cabarrus, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-4 record.

Looking ahead, Olympic will challenge Berry at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Olympic will be up against Berry's rather soft defense (which has allowed five goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for West Cabarrus, they will square off against Mooresville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
