It was a good run, but Pike County unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 9-2 to the Zion Chapel Rebels. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 10-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2022.

Pike County's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Zion Chapel, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season.

Pike County will square off against Opp at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Zion Chapel, they will face off against Brantley at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
