Recap: Castle Knights vs. Gibson Southern Titans

They managed a 59-55 win over Gibson Southern. Given Castle's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 89th, while Gibson Southern is ranked 232nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Castle's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ayden Mcatee led the charge by scoring 17 points along with five assists and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Adler Mcatee, who scored 14 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why Gibson Southern lost, one person who can't be blamed is Brodey Lamb. Despite the final result, he scored 20 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Lamb has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Sean DeLong, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Castle is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Gibson Southern, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Gibson Southern is coming into the game with four straight losses on the road, meaning Tecumseh will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
