Volleyball Recap: North Miami Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact North Miami can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the American Patriots on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Pioneers in their meetings with the Patriots: they've now lost three in a row.

North Miami was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-14, 25-23.

North Miami's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for American, with the win, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 3-8.

North Miami does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for American, they will challenge Lourdes Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
