Volleyball Recap: Madison West Comes Up Short

Madison West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 28th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Sun Prairie West Wolves. If the Regents were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Wolves when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Sun Prairie West scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-20, 25-18.

Leading Sun Prairie West to victory were Aspen Bollans and Jillian Kessler. Bollans had four aces and three digs, while Kessler had four digs and three aces. That's the most aces Kessler has posted over her last 14 contests.

Madison West's loss dropped their record down to 0-27. As for Sun Prairie West, they pushed their record up to 20-14 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
