Basketball Recap: Community Comes Up Short

Community was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 53-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grundy County Yellowjackets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings/Viqueens this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-52 back in January.

Community's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Grundy County, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Community will square off against Cascade at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cascade will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Community surely won't give up without a fight. As for Grundy County, they will take on South Pittsburg at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
