Preview: Kennedy Titans vs. American Eagles
The Kennedy Titans will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the American Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Kennedy suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Thursday. They had to suffer through a rough 80-40 loss at the hands of Moreau Catholic. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Kennedy has scored all season.
Meanwhile, American was beaten by Moreau Catholic 73-46 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat American has suffered against Moreau Catholic since January 7, 2020.
Kennedy bumped their record down to 8-9 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for American, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-6.
Kennedy came up short against American in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, falling 47-40. Can Kennedy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
