St. Georges Tech is a perfect 5-0 against Christiana since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Hawks will square off against the Vikings at 4:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

St. Georges Tech is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Delaware's top teams: Mount Pleasant, who was ranked 20th at the time (St. Georges Tech was ranked 11th). The Hawks blew past the Green Knights 20-8 on Monday. The victory was familiar territory for the Hawks, who have now won six games in a row.

Meanwhile, Christiana made easy work of Dickinson on Tuesday and carried off a 12-2 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.

St. Georges Tech's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.3 runs over those games. As for Christiana, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.

St. Georges Tech was able to grind out a solid win over Christiana in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 9-5. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hawks since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
