Recap: Malad Dragons vs. Aberdeen Tigers
After flying high against the North Gem Cowboys last Thursday, the Malad Dragons came back down to earth. Malad was just a bucket shy of victory on Saturday and fell 47-46 to Aberdeen. Malad has not had much luck with Aberdeen recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Aberdeen's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Gage Driscoll, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Canon Foster, who scored 12 points.
Malad has been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Aberdeen, their win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-9.
Malad will face off against West Side at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Aberdeen, they will be playing at home against Declo at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Declo's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last seven games.
