Football Recap: Northern Durham Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Northern Durham extended their losing streak to three on Thursday, dropping them down to 3-7. They were outmatched by the Riverside-Durham Pirates and fell 43-6. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 35-14 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

Despite the defeat, Northern Durham had strong showings from Kamaree Moore, who rushed for 112 yards on only 12 carries, and Amir Liles, who rushed for 28 yards and a pair of TDs.

As for Riverside-Durham, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-8. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for they considering their two-point performance the contest before.

Jesiah Johnson was the offensive standout of the matchup as he threw for 112 yards and three touchdowns on only ten passes, and also punched in one rushing score. Dakari Monds was another key player, gaining 64 total yards.

As of now, neither Northern Durham nor Riverside-Durham have any future games scheduled.
